Hubbard High School students Adora Hale and Alaina Niec delivered hundreds of toys to Akron Children’s Hospital Mahoning Valley on Friday afternoon. The delivery was the culmination of a month-long toy drive they organized as part of their Career and Community Exploration class service project.
The toy drive, held at Hubbard Elementary School throughout October, resulted in over 340 toys that will help brighten the days of children receiving care at the hospital. The final step of the project was made possible by Deets Mechanical, which graciously provided transportation for the large donation!
